of burnt-out lost memories
of scattered hollow remnants,
bleached by long forgotten days
never rotting, yet slowly sallowed
unanswered inquisition dripping
with molten faith

shapeless
nothing without observation
formless energies
elicit the revival of something
ruleless spirits
staring through the open doorway
to endlessly return bearing creation's
death and provenance

in that strange plane of burnt out caustic strife
of fallow dreamscapes that verge upon the anticosmic
boundaries beheld without coherence
ashes wrought without flame
iridescent apparitions
that fold upon themselves
over and over again
in the hidden hollows
where cold things sleep...

let them rise again
and resurrect
before a chosen few
endowed with a cemetery grace
pulled from the shadows

shapeless

creeping shadows sweep the land like arched daggers,
or jagged bursts of intermittent razorteeth
biting down upon their prey
the screams of twisted clarions spilling forth
as withered bones reach up from the ground,
reanimated by the fiery resolution of an unknown source...
in the conniving eerie twilight, down in the garden,
salt is sown by the hands of devils
